This was fun to make, and I learned a few other things on Aurasma as well! I am getting really quick now with some augmented reality! I am working on a staff development I have coming up with some Aurasma to make it more engaging! No one likes boring PD!

Math Problem Solving Strategies!

If you are not teaching math problem solving strategies --- rethink your teaching! These are crucial for students to be able to think about the different ways to solve problems! I love the Problem Solver books! link to book information They walk the kids through how to solve the problems and then give them a chance to do it. My favorite is the logical reasoning! You can also find resources to go with each strategy with what you have (textbook, Pinterest, TPT, Google). The key is the common language. 

I like to make to make a poster of the strategies, but I also cut out the cards and place them on the board as we learn them together. They need to be taught the first semester for grades 3 and up. When the whole school (think vertical alignment) is using these strategies the kids have an easier time with problem solving! Click here for free download of the strategies at my TPT store!

Make sure you follow the person you are trying to view their images (even yourself!) Haha I didn't follow myself and got stumped!
